Friday's inauguration of Donald J. Trump as 45th president of the United States gave a lot of us,Painful Man And Woman well, some anxiety about the future. Fortunately, shirtless Vladimir Putin is here to assuage all our fears.
In a "Paid Message From the Russian Federation" to the American people (carried on Russia's government-funded English language channel, RT), the Russian president, played by an expert Beck Bennet, assured us we have nothing to worry about with Trump's leadership.

"You are worried that your country is in the hands of this unpredictable man. But don't worry, it's not," he said with a wink.
Shirtless Putin said our concerns are unfounded because, after all, it's not like the Russians are going to get loaded on potato vodka and drop their priceless 220ish-year old vase down a flight of stairs.
"I promise that we will take care of America; it's the most expensive thing we've ever bought."
On a day when millions of American women marched in the face of what they feel is an existential threat to their rights, Putin said we only need look to the contentment of Russian woman and "relax."

SNL couldn't help but poke fun at the relatively small public turnout for Trump's inauguration, too. Putin chastised his "protégé" for being so obsessed with crowd size, and for even going so far as to say one million people witnessed his swearing in.
